Kalam Ke Sipahi -A Cultural Extravaganza and Award Ceremony, 2019
GL Bajaj Institute of Management and Research, Greater Noida and Newspapers Association of India organized “A Cultural Extravaganza and Award Ceremony - Kalam Ke Sipahi, 2019” to celebrate the 27th Annual Day of NAI at SBG Auditorium, GLBIMR campus. The event was conducted under the guidance and visionary leadership of Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions and Dr. Ajay Kumar, honourable Director, GLBIMR on 24th September 2019, Tuesday.
Newspapers Association of India (NAI) represents the press at the grass roots level since its inception in 1993 under the insightful headship of Late Dr. M.R. Gaur. The aim of NAI is to focus on the advancement and improvement of local newspapers, magazines and journals and to encourage and support small and medium newspapers, journals, etc. to create a civil and well mannered society in India through responsible journalism.
As a tribute day for journalism, the event was organized to felicitate the esteemed journalists from print & electronic media, educationists, social activists and other renowned media professionals for their hard work and dedication in their respective fields. The event started with lighting of ceremonial lamp and invocation of Goddess Saraswati. The introductory address was delivered by Dr. Ajay Kumar, Director, GLBIMR and Mr. Vipin Gaur, General Secretary, NAI respectively. The welcome address was delivered by Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions. 62 illuminaries from media and journalism, education and social services were felicitated for their excellence with Kalam Ke Sipahi Award, 2019. Dignitaries honoured the awardees and congratulated them for their outstanding professional achievements. Following esteemed Guests of Honour felicitated the awardees – Ms. Arushi Nishank, Mr. Anant Kumar, Mr. Ajay Shukla, Mr. B. L. Gaur, Mr. Ramesh Bhatt, Mr. Sunil Dang, Mr. Sanjay Singh and Mr. Rashid Hashmi.
Vote of Thanks was presented by Prof. Ripudaman Gaur, Associate Professor, GLBIMR. He thanked the chief guest, all the dignitaries and audience who has attended the event and made it successful. Finally the event concluded with national anthem.
