The Human Resources Management (HRM) profession has undergone significant changes in the last two decades. Developments in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) have brought about significant changes in organizations. Hence the need to be adept at planning and interpreting your organization's "people metrics" has grown. Therefore, the utilization of different metrics and quantitative methods should become an integral part of the essential responsibilities of HRM professionals. Organizations have started using HR Analytics, a people-oriented decision making process, essentially to improve the following HR functions: Talent Hiring,, Employee Retention, Performance Management, Productivity Enhancement, Employee Motivation, Organizational Culture, and Measuring Progress.

But the challenge then is to understand the HR analytics in order to uncover meaningful insights and improve decision making about people. At the same time linking these insights with the overall strategies of an organization is equally important. This workshop would help understand the basic underpinnings of HR analytics, the process, and application of an effective HR analytics program. This program is designed to familiarize participants with the basic idea of HR Analytics - its scope, importance, and equip themselves with the knowledge of the techniques and tools of HR analytics, and their application.

Objectives:

  • To review the basic quantitative techniques commonly used in HRM function.
  • To understand the usage of various HR metrics in all functions of HR to bring organizational improvement.
  • Make suggestions to the organizations on how to optimize the use of human potential based on the analytics.
