GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research organized a full day session on “Marketing Management” on August 30, 2018 for PGDM Batch 2018-20 following the ongoing Expert Talk Series, initiated under the stewardship of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR. The Guest Speaker of the session was Dr. Sanjiv Mittal, Professor, GGSIP University, New Delhi who is an acclaimed academician with more than 30 years of rich experience and several accolades for his contribution in the field of education.
Dr. Urvashi Makkar while welcoming the Guest Speaker shared that the main objective of providing these opportunities is to appraise the young minds with the current scenario prevailing in the industry and to inspire them to imbibe the marketing concepts. Dr. Sanjiv Mittal gave extremely valuable insights during the session; he shared various concepts of marketing management like Segmentation, Targeting and Positioning, Product Mix Strategies, Concept of Services and latest marketing strategies. The winners of Case Study Workshop and Technovation Club Activity were also conferred with Certificates of Appreciation . Case Study winners were Rishab Thakur, Jaijeet Kadam, Vikram Singh, Puja Mishra and Abhishek Dora. The Technovation Club winners were Dairya Rogha (scored highest in innovation test) followed by quiz winners namely Rishab Thakur, Priyanka Gupta and Surojeet in first position & Lokesh Sharma, Abhishek Dora and Jyoti Sharma in the second position.
Such customized sessions prove to be a valuable learning experience for the students, enhancing their skills and sharpening the concepts.
