GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research organized a full day session on “Marketing Management II” on December 08, 2018 for PGDM Batch 2018-20 following the ongoing Expert Talk Series, initiated under the astute leadership of Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions and stewardship of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR. The Guest Speaker of the session was Dr. Sanjiv Mittal, Professor, GGSIP University, New Delhi who is an acclaimed academician with more than 30 years of rich experience and several accolades for his contribution in the field of education.
Dr. Urvashi Makkar while welcoming the Guest Speaker shared that the main objective of providing these opportunities is to appraise the young minds with the current scenario prevailing in the industry and to inspire them to imbibe the marketing concepts. Dr. Sanjiv Mittal gave extremely valuable insights during the session; he shared various concepts of marketing management like segmentation pricing strategies, pricing tactics, place mix- distribution strategies, channel conflicts promotion -ATL, BTL, sales promotion tools, integrated marketing communication, market research, demand forecasting and latest marketing strategies. He also helped the PGDM students to understand the nature of Marketing Environment and familiarize them with current trends in Marketing.
