Management Development Program (MDP) @ GLBIMR.

GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research, Greater Noida organized Management Development Program (MDP) on ‘HR Analytics: Tools for Escalating Organizational Performance’ on Saturday, February 29, 2020 in Board Room, GLBIMR campus under the visionary guidance of Dr. Ajay Kumar, Director, GLBIMR.

The inaugural session started with lighting of ceremonial lamp and invocation of Goddess Saraswati. Dr. Ajay Kumar, Director, GLBIMR welcomed the guest by presenting sapling as a token of greeting. The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Ajay Kumar, Director, GLBIMR. The Key Resource Person for the session was Mr. Viplav Kumar Singh, Group Manager HR (Lead North America Region 3), HCL Technologies.

The objective of the MDP was to sensitize the participants about Human Resource Analytics - its scope and importance & to equip them with the metric and different quantitative methods in HR analytics along with their application. It also equipped the participants with the utilization of various analytical tools in all functions of HR for problem-solving and decision making process to bring ultimate organizational improvement.

The theme of First Session was ‘Basics of Analytics’ which covered topics like what is big data, how to refer to free-flowing organizational data, etc. The theme of Second Session was ‘Hands-on introduction to HRA’ which covered topics like connecting HR Analytics to business benefit techniques etc. The theme of Third Session was ‘Reasons for Analytics’ which focused on classifying functions of HR – recruitment, talent development, performance management and employee exits- recognizing growth metrics for each function to drive analytics.

The MDP witnessed a total of 27 participants from different companies & various institutes of Delhi/NCR which included academicians and research scholars. The technical sessions concluded with the felicitation of participants with participation certificates. Finally, the event concluded with Vote of Thanks.

Overall, the event was a great success.
