Under its Expert Talk Series, the GLBIMR Institute organized an Expert Talk on "ERP SYSTEM" on September 30, 2022, Friday. Ms.Shilpa Wakade, Technical Lead, ERP in IBM India was the resource person of the Expert Talk.
Ms. Wakade explained to students the ERP System, how it can be useful for an organization and the career prospects. She gave students a personalized example of a hypothesis on how they can utilize ERP in their own business, also explained the various modules of ERP, its implementation and challenges.
Students got the knowledge that ERP acts as a resource - a way to integrate data and provides real time data; ERP can be used by both small and large organizations. It is useful as it saves time and solves problems by maintaining the data in a systematic manner.
