Alumni Talk on "Interest Rate Swaps as Derivative Products"

GL Bajaj Institute of Management and Research.PGDM Institute, Greater Noida organized an Alumni Talk on "Impact of Social Media Marketing on Consumer Buying Behaviour" on September17, 2022. Ms. Supriya Anand, Customer Success Specialist at Apisero Inc, Noida and GLBIMR Alumni was the Resource Person of this Alumni Talk. Ms. Supriya Anand explained to students about the Consumer behavior while purchasing on online platforms. She shared how marketers use social media for customized offerings to their target consumers. She added that even celebrities and influencers are getting paid with handsome incentives for a single post. She also shared her experiences and learnings as to how amazon prime initially captured its market, as they know how does it impact the consumer behavior. She was chosen as an Amazon brand ambassador for GLBIMR in 2019. Brands are hiring nano influencers as trust issues come into play that celebrities get paid and that's why they are posting. The very first thing a consumer is aware of, is to gather information from different digital aids. The modern customer journey is changed and it follows 5 stages i.e. Interest and awareness, search, research, purchase, and experience.
