GLBIMR, on Tuesday, 12th April, 2022 nominated 5 students of PGDM Batch (2021-23) to participate in 7th National Leadership Conclave & 12th Managing India Awards by AIMA at Taj Palace, New Delhi.
This AIMA conference was a platform to share ideas, knowledge, challenges, learn from experts and brainstorm, while listening to global trends and innovations. The Conference focused on how leaders adapt to this changing business environment. The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Nitin Gadkari , Hon'ble Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Government of India. The event was held in 9 sessions followed by the 12th Managing India Awards.
This conference was an excellent platform to listen to experts, corporate delegates and CEOs, from different companies, who shared their views to understand the different dimensions of "Leadership and its changing roles, Philanthropy which is often confused with fat endowments by the super - rich, women leaders and their roles in the society, Covid-19 impact on Indian health security and facilities, Indian GDP and it’s growth, boom of unicorns in India & the success story behind leading Vedanta’s growth, etc.
In continuation to the initiatives under Corporate Interface series, GLBIMR students, participated in AAJ TAK "HALLA BOL" debate on April 14, 2022 on Vendetta Politics that witnessed several known political parties and eminent personalities as key speakers including Advocate Gaurav Bhatia (Spokesperson of BJP), Acharya Pramod Krishnan (Political Party of Congress), Mr. Awanish Kumar Awasthi (RSS), Mr. Sanjay Gupta (Political Leader of Shiv Sena), and Mr. Haji Khan (Islamic Scholar). .
The anchor Ms. Anjana Om Kashyap focused on the sensational issues such as BULLDOZER crackdown in Madhya Pradesh and the rivalry going on in the debate AZAN v/s JAI HANUMAN. The event was great exposure for students and provided them with an understanding of the current burning political issues, and the different viewpoints of each political leader. The students also got the opportunity to raise questions to experts. It was a highly engaging experience under the CIS Platform.
With an objective to enhance the exposure of GLBIMR students at various platforms, GLBIMR.PGDM Institute Greater Noida students participated in "AAJ TAK" debate on April 27, 2022 on "Increasing price of fuel prices". This debate witnessed several known political parties and eminent personalities including Advocate Gaurav Bhatia (Spokesperson of BJP), Gurdeep Singh Sappal (Political Party of Congress).
The anchor Ms. Anjana Om Kashyap focused on the sensational issues such as increase in fuel prices in the present scenario, and questioned when the VAT taxes are going to decrease
The event was a great learning platform for the students and provided them with an understanding of the current burning political issues, and the different viewpoints of each political leader. The students also got the opportunity to raise questions to experts. It was a highly engaging experience under the CIS Platform.
GLBIMR.PGDM Institute students Participated in “Rise of the Startup Ecosystem ", Startup India 2022 Expo & Conclave
With the constant impetus on delivering professional excellence and corporate orientation, GLBIMR under Corporate Interface Series provided its students an opportunity to participate in Startup India 2022 Expo & Conclave- “Rise of the Startup Ecosystem " on 2nd & 3rd June 2022, Monday from 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM at PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, New Delhi. The Guest of Honor of the event was Ms Anupriya Patel, Hon’ble Minister of State for Commerce & Industry, Government of India, and the Chief Guest for the event was Dr. Jitendra Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, Government of India.
This conclave was an excellent platform for students to listen to experts, corporate delegates and CEOs, from various renowned companies, who shared their views to understand the different dimensions of the startups that how we can raise the funding from the investors through various rounds and clarity of skills and ideas in the startup and how the startup ecosystem keep sustainable growth in the market.
GLBIMR Students participated in NHRDN - Delhi &NCR Chapter : “Transformational people practices conclave”
Keeping up its objective of creating a vivacious and impactful platform for the all-inclusive development of its students, GLBIMR.PGDM Institute under Corporate Interface Series provided its students with an opportunity to participate in the NHRDN Conclave on “Transformational people practices conclave” hosted by Delhi &NCR Chapter on July 2, 2022, Saturday at Hyatt, Gurugram.
The conclave brought together an inspirational array of industry stalwarts, cutting-edge entrepreneurs and academicians from reputed organizations like Microsoft India, Aditya Birla Group and Mondelez India who shared their views on the Transformation of People Practices in Performance Management, Talent Development, Diversity and Inclusion. It also witnessed the deliberations from eminent practitioners like Amitabh Adhikary (Author), Anil Bhat (Employment law specialist and advocate, LEX and CTAFT) and Ravi Birbal (Advocate, Chambers of Mr. Raj Birbal, Senior advocate) who deliberated on wage code of the new labour regime, its interpretations and implementation mandates.
The conclave was an insightful experience for the students as they got the opportunity to get enlightened by the thoughts of various corporate leaders and Government officials.

This AIMA convention was a platform to share the growth strategy that India needs to adopt and how India can benefit from the geopolitical situation. This two-day mega convention was focused on challenges faced by Corporates in India
This convention was an excellent platform to listen to experts like Mr. TV Narendran, CEO & Managing Director, Tata Steel Limited, Mr. Jyotiraditya M Scindia, Minister of Civil Aviation, Government of India, Mr. Rishad Azim Premji, Executive Chairman, Wipro Ltd., Mr. Amitabh Kant India’s Sherpa for the G20 and many more. These all helped students to know the advantages India can have in changing geopolitical situations and the importance of building a fast and green economy etc.
Under its CIS activities, GLBIMR participated in HR/IR Event on 28th September 2022 (Wednesday) at Radisson Blu Plaza, NH-8, Near Airport, New Delhi organized by Maruti Suzuki XISS Awanish Kumar Dev Memorial Trust with the support of NHRD Network. This initiative was taken to build Industrial Relations capability through the Annual Awanish Dev Memorial Lectures where leading academicians, HR Thought Leaders & HR student community come together to strengthen building IR capability building across the country.
In this event, 10th Awanish Dev Memorial Lecture on theme “ Future of industrial Relations : Competitive Edge, Digitization & Transformation” was organized in a hybrid mode
