The session opened with a welcome address by Dr. Sapna Rakesh, emphasizing the importance of women knowing their rights and speaking out against violence. DSP Chaudhary delved into the New Criminal Law: Bhartiya Nyaya Sahita, focusing on Chapter 5, Section 63, and Section 64, explaining various judicial terms and the provisions for holding those in power accountable. She also discussed IT Act 67 A and B, covering cybercrime, unnatural offenses, pornography, and bullying, stressing the pros and cons of social media.
The session was engaging and provided valuable insights for the PGDM 2024 batch students, contributing to the creation of a safer environment for women and children.
