GLBIMR organized an expert talk on 'Strategy and Consultancy-Perspective and Prospects' for its PGDM batch 2022-24 students, to help them make an informed decision while opting for their specialization subjects.
The expert talk was delivered by Mr. Sharat Paul Mechery, Senior Facilitator (Management Development), Tata Steel, Jamshedpur where the students were educated about career options available in Consultation & Strategy and how this specialization can complement their other choices like Marketing, Finance, HR and Operations.
Mr. Paul highlighted companies like McKinsey, Accenture, Deloitte, PWC, KPMG and EY which value a background in strategy and consultancy.
He also discussed the utility of strategic consulting in areas of corporate strategy, Mergers &Acquisitions, Brand Strategy and Functional Strategy.
