Dr Shuchita Singh Associate Professor at GLBIMR, attended PRME Chapter India Meet on 7th December organized by SPJIMR Mumbai. The agenda of meet was Pedagogy and Social Responsibility Innovating for sustainable futures. Program started with a thought provoking panel discussion by Dr Varun Nagaraj, Dean, SPJIMR, Ganesh Reddy, Joint Secretary, United National Global Compact India and Ajit Parulekar, Director, Goa Institute of Management. The session was moderated by Dr Chandrika Parmar, Director D O C C.
All the esteemed panelists emphasized innovation and creativity for sustainable and innovative learning. This session was followed by another interesting panel discussion on learning towards Cosmopolitan citizenship. The next session was based upon talking about inclusion between silence and performance, and the last session was about business school for climate leadership Beyond Anthropocene. Dr. Sapna Rakesh, Director, GLBIMR shared her insightful thoughts on the theme. Posters on various pedagogical initiatives were also displayed in SPJIMR premise. Two posters submitted by Dr. Nidhi Srivastava and Dr. Shuchita Singh were selected for display and appreciated by the visitors.
After the panel discussions, the Annual General Meeting of PRME India members was held followed by the sustainability awards.
Entire day was full of knowledge and provoked insightful thoughts in pedagogical innovations.
