A day of pride and new beginnings at GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research! ✨ On September 14, 2024, we celebrated the 'Investiture Ceremony: Academic Leaders and Office Bearers' for our PGDM 2024-26 Batch Students. Under the visionary leadership of Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman of GL Bajaj Educational Institutions, and the guidance of Dr. Sapna Rakesh, Director of GLBIMR, our students are set on a path of excellence and innovation.
The ceremony began with the traditional lamp lighting, symbolizing the dawn of a new journey, followed by captivating cultural performances, including a Ganesh Vandana and a vibrant dance showcasing a blend of three different cultures, celebrating diversity and unity.
In her Inaugural Address, Dr. Sapna Rakesh emphasized the importance of competence and confidence in today’s youth, underscoring the crucial role of institutional clubs in nurturing these qualities and preparing students for their future managerial careers.
We were honored to have Chief Guest, Mr. Saud Md. Khalid, a News Anchor at News24, along with Ms. Alina Khan, also from News24, who shared their inspiring stories of resilience, especially for those coming from smaller towns. Their words motivated students to pursue their dreams with determination and grit. 🌟
The highlight of the event was the Oath Ceremony, where the newly appointed club leaders received their badges and appointment letters, taking a pledge to uphold the values and responsibilities of their leadership roles. Their commitment marks the beginning of their journey to shape a brighter future for themselves and others.
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks and the National Anthem, with special recognition to Dr. Sunita Chowdhury, the faculty coordinator, for her seamless coordination of this memorable event.
